The New York Automobile Insurance Plan (NYAIP) Online System is available for producers licensed in the State of New York and certified with the NYAIP to electronically produce bar-coded temporary insurance ID cards and/or to utilize the many functions PASS has to bind and submit NYAIP Private Passenger/ Motorcycle and Commercial applications. PASS also provides for online Endorsements.

Things to note about PASS:

• Only the producer of record who appears on the application may issue ID cards in connection with that application.
• Applications must be submitted to the Plan by no later than the working day following the completion date of the application.
• Producers should not complete an online submission without first having the required deposit and documents necessary to submit the application for assignment.
• Producers must be sure they receive an assignment for every application submission and must notify the Plan in the event they have not received an assignment 10 days after submitting the application and deposit to the Plan.
• Producers must submit an application or issue a retraction for every application submitted online. Applications are available for retraction within 2 business days of the original online application submission. If a Retraction is not submitted within 2 business days, then an online application and deposit must be submitted for assignment.
• Producers will be responsible for securing their password. A producer may change his/her password on the PASS website.
• Producers will have one password for each certified license and authorized satellite office.

Misuse and abuse of this program and any other Plan rule or procedure may result in the revocation of a producer's ID Card, Immediate Binding and Certification privileges, and may be referred to the NY State Department of Financial Services for further action.
